Theresa Brierton
Mrs. Brierton spent the first 30 years of her life in Illinois. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. She completed her Masters in Special Education from Fort Hays State in Hays, Kansas. She has taught special education at a variety of levels for 16 years including 2 years as an inclusion consultant. She also is a Master Catechist and was the Director of Religious Education at St. Andrew's Church for 8 years and continues to teach CRE classes on Wednesday. She and her husband, Mike have raised 3 children and are the proud grandparents of nine beautiful grandchildren which is their pastime! They are raising one grandchild, Catherine, who is a 3rd grader at St. Andrew's school. Mrs. Brierton's hobbies include acting for Great Plains Theatre Festival, playing the piano and organ, singing and participating in her grandchildren's active lives. She is very pleased to be a part of such a caring and family .
